Return Policy

Overview

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase on unused products only. Once the device has been installed, used, or made contact with a toilet, it cannot be returned due to health, hygiene, and safety regulations.

What counts as "used"

A product is considered used once any of the following has
occurred:

  • The protective wrap has been removed from the seat slot covers 
  •  The product has been used for toileting purposes
  • The device has made contact with the top surface of a toilet

As adaptive medical equipment, products cannot be returned once used. Outbound shipping costs (including discounted or complimentary shipping) are deducted from all refunds.

How to return

  1. Repack carefully. Include all original parts, accessories, and packaging materials. Returns without original packaging will not be accepted.
  2. Ship via UPS only to: SedMed Inc., 262 Quarry Rd, Unit J, Milford, CT 06460. Returns sent via othercarriers will not be accepted.
  3. Package adequately. Damage incurred during transit due to insufficient packaging may result in a forfeited return with no refund issued.

Tip: Measure your toilet and bathroom before ordering to confirm the device fits properly and avoid unnecessary returns.

Warranty Policy

Coverage

SedMed warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non transferable.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Component failures under normal use conditions

What is not covered

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Damage caused by improper installation  
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function

Making a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact SedMed directly withn proof of purchase and a description of the defect. SedMed reserves the right to repair or replace the product at its discretion.
